Only the Greens acted with integrity during citizenship debacle
« on: October 31, 2017, 10:00:43 PM »
The Greens are the only ones who've acted with honour and integrity in this whole citizenship mess. Ludlam and Waters stood up and admitted they did the wrong thing, took responsibility for it, and resigned immediately. They didn't spend months blaming everyone else and desperately clinging on to power. They put the constitution ahead of their own careers, unlike all the others.

Greens are the only adults in parliament

The Australian (far right Murdoch propaganda machine) is praising us Greens?? You know the two establishment parties are in deep trouble when that starts to happen! Even many of the ultra far right who are commenting on this story on the Oz's website are praising the Greens. Ludlam and Waters were big losses but their loss has given us a chance to show our integrity. How we have handled this situation is a credit to our party and stands in stark contrast to the actions of the other parties.

Here's the article I'm referring to - http://www.theaustralian.com.au/opinion/are-the-greens-the-only-adults-in-the-room/news-story/523a8f9ab67368ae13ee8e1a14c177f8

I hate to say this but on this the Greens are right. Uhhg I feel dirty! Got to give credit where it's due though. But it doesn't excuse their other ridiculous policies!
