John Nguyen, Liberal for Chisholm
John arrived in Australia in 1980 with his grandparents as a refugee fleeing persecution in communist Vietnam. His family’s experience ensured that from a young age John had instilled in him the strong values of hard work and a sense of community service.
John attended The University of Melbourne where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce and later completed a Master of Business Administration at Melbourne Business School. He went on to build a successful career as a partner in global professional services firm that helps large and small businesses.
John has also been involved in a number of community activities, including serving as board director of febfast. febfast is a not-for-profit organisation whose objective is to raise funds to help and support young Australians who suffer from alcohol and substance abuse.
John is engaged to Sarah and looks forward to raising a family in Chisholm.
