While those are certainly a big part of the picture, Federation Council is inviting you to look a little closer this NSW Local Government Week, running from Monday, August 4, to Sunday, August 10, 2025. It’s a chance to discover the wide range of services and initiatives that truly make our region tick.
This annual week is designed to shine a spotlight on the vital, yet often unseen, work councils do. From the splash of local swimming pools to the quiet dignity of our cemeteries, from vibrant community events to essential childcare services, local government is the unsung hero at the heart of our towns.
