Tonight is Senator Janet Rice’s valedictory speech in the Senate and I can tell you now, I am going to miss her greatly.
Janet has been a tireless fighter for our LGBTIQA+ community, for those on income support, for our forests and for so many of you in Victoria.
Janet leaves the party in a stronger position than when she was elected to the Senate in 2014. She has done an incredible amount of hard work, the work that often, no one sees.
