When we talk about the injustice of the climate crisis - this is what we mean.
Australia is the third largest exporter of coal & gas pollution in the world.
But our Pacific neighbours - who have comparatively minimal emissions - are already experiencing turbocharged cyclones, storms and rising sea levels.
This is why we need a Safeguard Mechanism that actually stops big polluting projects - not one that allows new coal & gas, including the mines proposed by the Liberals.
Greenwashing won’t help anyone.
We need urgent action informed by the science and the science is clear - no new coal & gas.
