A Medicare Mental Health Centre is now open at the Junction Neighbourhood Centre, 59 Newland Street Bondi Junction.
You do not need a Medicare card, an appointment or a referral, and there are no fees involved. The clinic is open for anyone who needs support and is not limited to those impacted by Bondi.
The team onsite is multidisciplinary, offering a wide range of services with trauma informed specialists. To access the service, you can walk-in from 9am - 5pm or call 1800 595 212. An online referral option will also be available in the coming weeks.
Please note this is an interim location to allow the clinic to be set up as quickly as possible, so I will update you once a permanent location is established.
