Our hearts of go out to the family and friends of beautiful Nico Antic, who has died from the injuries he suffered in the shark attack near Nielsen Park.
Nico’s family describe him as a “happy, friendly, and sporty young boy with the most kind and generous spirit… always full of life … that’s how we’ll remember him.”
He was doing something that so many of do – out with friends, enjoying the beautiful harbour and freedom water brings.
It is so tragic that this beautiful boy has been lost enjoying these simple pleasures.
I know our whole community is thinking of his parents, family, friends, school mates, surf club and sports mates.
