Recognise some of these? The Guardian is running a poll right now for Australia's best picture book. I could've voted for about half of these books - ultimately I decided to go for Diary of a Wombat which I have given so many people from the UK. But a special mention has to go to Where is the Green Sheep (which I can recite) and Pig the Pug and so many others.
If you haven't already voted, I really suggest you do. Going through the list is a great nostalgia trip.
