Today I seconded @katechaneymp's motion in Parliament to condemn the horrendous attack against peaceful protestors marching at the Invasion Day Rally in Boorloo/Perth on January 26th.
This attack was not just an attack on the safety of Indigenous Australians or an attack on our democratic right to protest, but it was an attack on our shared values. Australians all across the country are rightfully horrified. Everyone in this country should be able to gather peacefully without any threat or fear of violence.
