All flood-affected communities deserve support. It’s wrong to carve them up.
I joined Madonna Jarrett, Labor candidate for Brisbane, this morning at New Farm Park to talk about Queensland and NSW’s recovery from the floods.
Communities have been devastated by flooding and the people in them are hurting. I’ve travelled through them this week and seen the damage first hand.
But carving up these communities and leaving some parts without support is wrong.
They all need support from the Federal Government and they need it now.
