Labor’s 2022 Women’s Budget Statement
Today the Labor team launched our annual Women’s Budget Statement – a proud Labor legacy – to show in both our words and our actions that we are building a better future for Australian women.
A Labor Government will deliver cheaper child care. We’ll tackle the gender pay gap. And we’ll promote women’s economic security through paid domestic violence leave and more crisis housing and frontline services.
These are tasks that need to be shared by men and women – and they will be shared by all members of my team.
