Regional Australia and our outer suburbs need more GPs. This morning I visited the Central Coast to see how the GP shortage is impacting people here.
In Kincumber, Dr Ian Charlton says patients have to wait up to six weeks to see a GP.
It means people’s health problems get worse, and the cost of care ends up being more expensive.
Communities like this need more doctors, and a Labor Government will make sure they get them.
