Yet again Scott Morrison’s failure to lead means Barnaby Joyce is setting Australia’s climate policy. Scott Morrison’s response is always the same. It’s always someone else’s job.
First we had “I don’t hold a hose mate”.
Then we had “that’s a matter for the states”.
Now we’ve got “I’m waiting for Barnaby to tell me.”
This government has been wrecking action on climate change for eight long years, and now two weeks before the Glasgow climate summit they’re pretending they have a plan.
We need to take advantage of the global push to renewable energy or we’ll miss out.
