Bandt to OECD leaders: Cormann ain’t your guy
Australian parliamentarian and leader of the Australian Greens, Adam Bandt, has a simple message for leaders who are currently voting for a new OECD Secretary General.
“OECD leaders: if you want action on the climate crisis from someone with a proven track record, Mathias Cormann ain’t your guy.”
Right now, world leaders are choosing the new Secretary General for the OECD. Someone who’ll be responsible for driving an agenda to help countries tackle the climate emergency – and they’re considering former Liberal Senator, Mathias Cormann 🤯
So Adam has just tweeted the OECD leaders this video – because if they are serious about climate action they should know about the Liberal Party’s track record.
