If we make the right decisions, we can create hundreds of thousands of good jobs, ensure everyone has an income they can live on, set young people up for the future and transition to a clean energy economy.

“This wasn’t the 2020 most of us had imagined. COVID-19 has knocked us sideways and shattered the economy. 1 in 10 people out of work.
But for many, things haven’t been easy for a long time.
That’s why the Greens’ recovery plan will renew the economy and put the community’s needs ahead of big corporations:
A government-backed jobs and income guarantee will help create hundreds of thousands of jobs and ensure everyone has an income they can live on.
Massive government investment in health, education, manufacturing and renewable infrastructure – the building blocks of a fair, clean economy.
And for young people, our “Next Gen Guarantee” will give you free education, an income you can live on, and a decent, guaranteed job if you want it, so that you can pursue your passion and get back on track.
All this is just the beginning. The Greens will keep fighting for a cleaner economy and a fairer society through a Green New Deal. Together, we can build a better future for all of us.
