Lee asks about controversial WestConnex audit
Senator Lee Rhiannon asked questions in Senate Estimates about the Australian National Audit Office’s audit report into the Commonwealth funding of the WestConnex project.
Sensing that the project fell well short of the rigorous and independent planning that enormous infrastructure investments like Westconnex require, the Greens requested the audit in August 2015.
The audit found that the rationale for funding the WestConnex project was deeply deficient.
