PC asked if they are measuring whether businesses are passing on costs to customers on penalty rates


Greens spokesperson for Finance, Senator Peter Whish-Wilson asks the Productivity Commission why they aren’t measuring whether businesses are using weekend surcharges to pass on costs of the social contract of weekend penalty rates to customers. The Senator says surcharges are an important means of maintaining the social contract of penalty rates.
