Labor’s new member for Sturt, Claire Clutterham MP is an elected councillor for the Norwood Payneham and St Peters Council, lawyer, Royal Flying Doctor Service Board member, wife, stepmother, and a keen runner.
She is married to Ben and has a 10-year-old stepdaughter Niamh, and together they have built a life in Eastern Adelaide. As a parent, Claire understands the pressures of raising a young family, from paying the bills, to coaching and umpiring kids’ sports, to the value of good secure jobs.
Claire has spent her working life delivering outcomes that make a real difference in people’s lives, both in her career and her community service. As a local councillor, Claire has the experience in advocating for her community on things big and small.
Claire wants to ensure we have a government that continues to deliver real action for a better future both nationally and at a local level. We wish Claire a warm welcome to the Labor team and congratulate her on her successful campaign to win the seat of Sturt!
