Meet newly elected Senator for Tasmania, Josh Dolega! Josh grew up in Spreyton on Tasmania’s North West Coast. His parents worked hard to support the family, his father as a glazier and his mother juggling jobs as a cleaner and bread delivery driver. These early experiences shaped Josh’s deep commitment to fairness, hard work and standing up for working people.
Josh has spent most of his life on the North West Coast, he brings a strong record of public service, having worked in government helping small businesses, in the fitness industry supporting people to achieve their goals, and most recently with the CPSU, where he represented workers and fought for safer, fairer workplaces and properly funded public services.
As a Senator, Josh is focused on listening to the community and delivering practical results. He is committed to working alongside the Tasmanian Labor team to strengthen Medicare, deliver more Medicare Urgent Care Clinics across the state, and ensure that every taxpayer benefits from cost of living relief.
