ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:

Weather Situation: A very moist environment is producing areas of heavy rainfall with isolated embedded thunderstorms.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Katherine, Barunga and Beswick.

Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Daly district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.

80.2 mm was recorded at Upper Fergusson River in the 2 hours to 7:50 pm.

71 mm was recorded at Ironwood Station in the 60 minutes to 7:24 pm.
