Community Safety And Crime Prevention Plan
The City of Fremantle is updating its Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan to guide its priorities and actions over the next five years.
The Plan seeks to:
To help shape a safer Fremantle for everyone, the City is asking the community to familiarise themselves with the current strategy and resources available, and to share their thoughts on what’s working and what could be done differently.
The updated Plan will reflect the evolving urban and social environment and will include actions the City can lead, facilitate, or advocate for-particularly where responsibility lies beyond local government.
Creating a safe and welcoming community is a shared responsibility requiring strong partnerships with state agencies, local organisations, and the community.
People who live, work or play in Fremantle can visit the City’s MySay page at mysay.fremantle.wa.gov.au for some background reading, to take a survey or join the discussion by attending a community meeting.
