The trade union movement will tell the Albanese Government at its upcoming Jobs Summit that they should be allowed to force workers who are not union members to pay fees to unions for negotiating enterprise agreements.
If Prime Minister Albanese allows this, millions of Australians could be forced to pay fees to a union where they are not a member.
Every Australian has the right to join a union to not join a union – this is a fundamental human right which the Country Liberal Party is strongly committed to.
At a time where less than 10% of the private sector workforce is a member of a union, the unions are pressuring the Albanese Government to legislate their relevance.
