Much of Senator Hanson's brand has been built on sowing division.
People can have different views and opinions but this kind of blanket racism has no place in our politics.
And on top of the harm it does, inflaming racism sucks the oxygen out of other important conversations. It won't drive down the cost of living or help with health, ageing, construction, early childhood education or the many other things we should be focussing on to help Australians in their daily lives.
