Domestic Violence Charges And Appeal At Gladstone
A man has been charged with eighteen domestic violence offences following an incident in Gladstone earlier this month.
It will be alleged around 12pm on 12 July, a woman was threatened while being physically and sexually assaulted by a man known to her in multiple locations across Gladstone.
The woman reported the incident to police and the man was arrested a short time later.
A 36-year-old Bluewater man has been charged with ten domestic violence offences, including rape, sexual assaults, common assault, deprivation of liberty, assaults occasioning bodily harm, serious assault of a police officer, possessing dangerous drugs, and threatening violence.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear before Gladstone Magistrates Court on 1 September.
Police are still keen to speak to anyone who may have spoken to the man or the woman travelling in a white Toyota Landcruiser sometime between 12pm and 5pm between Gladstone and Calliope to come forward.
