EV Charger Bays Installed at Maude & Nixon Streets
Greater Shepparton City Council would like to inform the community of the installation of four electric vehicle (EV) charger bays within the Council-owned Maude and Nixon Street Car Park in Shepparton.
In Summary
- Four new EV charging bays will be installed by the NRMA at the Maude and Nixon Streets Car Park in Shepparton, compatible with all EV makes and models.
- Installation will commence in April 2025 and is expected to take three weeks to complete, with minimal disruption to car park access during works.
- Two 180kW ABB Terra DC chargers will be installed, capable of charging an EV to 80% in approximately 20 minutes (depending on vehicle specifications).
- The project is part of the Australian Government’s Driving the Nation Fund, aiming to establish a National EV Charging Network on key highway routes across the country.
