Finalists Announced For 2025 NT Training Awards

The Territory’s brightest vocational education and training stars have been recognised with the 2025 NT Training Awards (NTTA) finalists announced today.

This year’s awards will see 35 finalists across 12 categories, including 7 individual and 5 business categories from across the Territory including Darwin, Katherine, Batchelor, Groote Eylandt, Alice Springs and Yulara.

The 2025 finalists represent a diverse field of industries including retail, business, process plant operations, electrotechnology electrician, engineering – fabrication trade (sheetmetal working), engineering – mechanical trade, supply chain operations, training and assessment, construction pathways, aviation (remote pilot) – drone, allied health assistance, air conditioning and refrigeration, hospitality, commercial cookery, first aid and individual support (ageing and disability).

Winners and runners-up will be announced at the gala awards dinner on Saturday 13 September at the Darwin Convention Centre.

Eligible NT winners will go on to represent the Territory at the Australian Training Awards (ATA) gala night on Friday 5 December. This year, the ATA gala night will be held in Darwin at the Darwin Convention Centre.
