As your Member of Parliament, I spend a lot of time speaking to people about jobs. Employers, small business owners, workers, people looking for work, young people in training and thinking about their future – I get every perspective.
I love these conversations and hearing about all the innovative programs and creative ideas people have around jobs and skills in Indi.
That’s why I am proud to have be taking a place at the Government’s Jobs and Skills Summit on Thursday and Friday next week. I will be making sure that Indi and regional Australia has a seat at the table, to speak about the challenges we face in finding workforce, in accessing childcare and housing to be able to take up the jobs that are there.
