Did you know national icon, Uncle Tobys manufactures right here in Indi? Wahgunyah in fact. And this year is their 130th anniversary! I had the pleasure of stopping by the factory to meet some of their 440 employees and learn more about the company. Here are a few things I learned:
🚜 Almost all the oats used by Uncle Toby’s are grown within 300kms of the factory
🎓 They work with Riverine Plains and University of Melbourne to sponsor first year agriculture students
🥣 1 million breakfasts are provided through a 30 year partnership with Foodbank Australia I’m proud to have Uncle Toby’s in Indi, making a difference and being part of our local community. (Also – they produce 8 million muesli bars every single day!)
