During the busy final sitting weeks of the 2022 parliamentary year I met with Minister for Housing Julie Collins.
We spoke about the housing supply shortages in regional areas, and the possible solutions to address this significant challenge. This is a major issue in Indi and I am determined to ensure our voices are heard as the Government designs and implements policy in this area. The solutions must be appropriate for regional and rural Australia, not just for the big cities.
I look forward to working with the Minister in the new year about how the Government’s housing policies can work for regional Australia.
