❗Flood support – extended eligibility and new programs announced❗

👉Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment👈

I am pleased that Benalla and Murrindindi have been announced as eligible LGAs for this payment, following my discussions with the Federal Emergency Management Minister Murray Watt.

This one-off lump sum payment of $1000 per adult and $400 per child is available if you’ve been significantly affected by Victorian Floods in October 2022. You are eligible if you’re in a Local Government Area (LGA) that’s been declared for a disaster and you have experienced major damage to your property or other assets. In Indi, eligible LGAs for this payment are Benalla, Murrindindi and Strathbogie.
