I love our ABC. Whether it’s listening to Sandra Moon and the team on ABC Goulburn Murray in the morning, checking the news updates during the day, or sitting down with some quality Australian drama like Total Control of an evening, Aunty is always there.
Today in Parliament we got to meet some icons of the ABC – Big Ted, Little Ted, and all the Playschool crew were big in my house when the kids were little, and I know Bluey and Bingo are on high rotation for everyone with young children in their lives now!
It was great to speak to many of the employees at the ABC and personally tell them how much they are valued and how much I support a strong and independent ABC.
