I recently visited Corryong FoodShare, where volunteers Jodi Cordier, Gary Wilson, Reverend Douglas Allen and Pastor Carol Allen spoke to me about the vital, yet often invisible, support they are providing
vulnerable members of our community.They told me how demand for their services is increasing, and more Government support is needed now more than ever. I will be looking for ways to ensure they get this support to continue the important service to those doing it tough.
Pastor Carol Allen and Reverend Douglas Allen also provided updates on the organisation’s move to new premises at 60-62 Harris Street to take place in a few months. I look forward to seeing this new space on my next visit!
