Helen Haines MP

I started my morning with a briefing at the SES Incident Control Centre in Wodonga, to get an update on the weather we are expecting over the next few days and what preparations are being made.

Check out my post from yesterday with links to the SES local flood guides, the Bureau Of Meteorology and VicEmergency to help keep yourself informed. Local councils are also providing information about road closures due to flooding.

With the third La Niña in a row, we are going to need to be prepared for flooding regularly over this Spring and Summer. We need to make sure we are informed and prepared.
