I was so pleased to meet with Professor Patrick McGorry in Parliament recently, to have an important discussion about the prevalence of mental health issues in our community and the steps we can take to address them.
Professor McGorry has absolutely led the way in this area in Australia and we have so much to be grateful for with his work.
We discussed the urgent need for a clinic to support people living with eating disorders on the border, and the ways we can advocate to the Government for this to be funded.
