On my recent trip to Mt Beauty I met with community members Stephen Gardiner and Campbell Ford.
Stephen is a recipient of a Stronger Communities Grant. He showed me how this grant and his hard work have resulted in new picnic tables and footpaths along a popular spot on the Kiewa River – just in time for summer!
These grants aim to improve local community participation and contribute to our vibrant and viable communities and it’s amazing to see the brilliant outcomes. Keep an eye out as I will be posting more information about upcoming grants and how to apply.
