The state election campaign has been full of big health spending announcements.
But there is no transparency around how these decisions are made on where to make such significant investments.
We know there is a master plan for a new Albury Wodonga Hospital, but there has been no commitment by the Victorian Labor Government, only by the Liberal opposition.
Rob Phair is absolutely right – we need to know how these decisions are made so we can make sure the public investment is going where there is most need – not where there is political gain.
