This week is Homelessness Week, and we know there are too many people in our region who do not have a roof above their heads, a safe and secure place to call home.

As part of this week, the Ovens Murray and Goulburn Homelessness Network is asking us all to Step Up for Homelessness.

Beyond Housing is accepting donations on behalf of the Network, as well as asking for people to ‘pay it forward’ when visiting one of the local participating cafes.

When buying a coffee or meal for yourself, why not buy another meal for someone who is doing it tough.

Venues taking part in Indi include Beechworth Bakery Rustik Cafe & Foodstore Alpine Gate Cafe Madem Espresso West End Cafe Clydes on Murdoch Tj&Co Blends Bowls Bites Where is My Coffee Shelley’s CountryBakehouse Burger Urge Henri’s Wodonga Bakery The Goods Shed Craft Beer Cafe Yums Food Bar.

You can see the full list across North East Victoria here: https://omg-homelessness.weebly.com/pay-it-forward.html

The Ovens Murray and Goulburn Homelessness Network consists of a number of housing organisations across the North East, including Beyond Housing, Junction Support Services, Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation, NESAY, Nexus Primary Health and many more.
