Remembering Cassius
Vigils for Cassius Turvey are being held all around Australia today. Like many of you, I am horrified by what happened to Cassius and heartbroken for his family, loved ones and community.
A statement from Cassius’ Mum Mechelle is being read at vigils today. Her words say it best:
“We knew from the early days Cassius would be a shining star. This was easily seen by his family by the way he smiled, he laughed, the way he cared about others. Cassius was a ‘people lover’ who treated everyone equally and respectfully. He was jovial, kind, and his heart – larger than life.”
