Breaking: I've named Sarah Court to be the next Chair of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
Sarah is an experienced litigator and leader, and will be an outstanding Chair.
Sarah will be the first woman to lead ASIC in its history.
I'd also like to thank Joe Longo for leading and strengthening ASIC over the past five years. He will finish up as Chair in May.
