Given that the Libs and Crossbench now have even numbers in the House and everyone else seems preoccupied with the Libs and Nats 'MAFS' saga, Bob has taken a leaf out of Morrison's book and allocated himself the positions of Opposition Leader and all shadow Cabinet portfolios.
Bob said, "I have not taken on this tremendous responsibility lightly, however I can't just stand there and watch while the Libs and Nats continue to squabble over deck chairs on the Titanic."
"If you're not going to do the job then GET OUT!"
Supporting his vision for Australia, Bob has listed some key priorities……
As shadow Treasurer I want income splitting and support for 'make money' projects like dams, rail, mines, ports, electricity infrastructure, Government owned banks and investment structures.
As shadow Immigration I want "no migration without assimilation".
As shadow Agriculture I want an end to over regulation and a fair farm gate price.
As shadow Energy I want investment in coal-fired power, and power from renewable, regrowable sources such as sugar, grain and algae.
As shadow Housing I want to abolish all local, state and federal government regulation that locks up land and makes housing unaffordable.
As shadow Defence I want strategic assets, including ports and airports, energy and telecommunications providers back in Australian hands and a missile defence wall in the north.
As shadow Water and Infrastructure I want to build several dams across our great inland plains and roads that provide fast inland connections to our major cites, ports, mines and growing regions.
As shadow Education I want kids to value Australia - go fishing, camping and hunting, light a fire, boil a billy, round up some cattle, pick fruit. Learn about farming, manufacturing and entrepreneurship.
As shadow First Australians I want to give title deeds and market gardens on community lands so they can own their homes, start businesses and grow food.
