Kimberley Opens Registration for Temporary Housing Units
Individuals and organisations operating in the Kimberley are encouraged to register their interest in obtaining a former Temporary Accommodation Unit (TAU) module for community use.
The registrations of interest (ROI) process will inform the State Government on community demand for the repurposing of 110 modules.
These modules provided temporary accommodation for residents affected by the 2023 Kimberley floods.
Organisations and individuals in the Kimberley have until 25 July 2025 to register their interest in the future use of any of the TAU modules, with preference given to those in the Fitzroy Valley.
The ROI process will inform the State Government’s approach to the future usage of the modules.
