Law Week 2025 Program Of Events
Law Week 2025 will be celebrated between 19 and 25 May, providing an opportunity for all Tasmanians to learn about their legal rights and the power of legal knowledge.
Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Guy Barnett, encouraged Tasmanians to get involved this Law Week.
“Law Week is recognised across Australia every May, with events and activities designed to help everyday Australians access vital information about their legal rights and responsibilities,” the Attorney-General said.
“Tasmania has a distinguished and proud justice system, boasting the oldest Supreme Court in the country.
“Each day, Tasmanians interact with our justice system for a number of reasons, and it is vitally important that they understand their rights, what they are entitled to and how to navigate it.
“Through our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania’s Future we will continue to ensure our justice system is fit-for-purpose and performing for Tasmanians.”
