It’s another stunning display of Andrews’ arrogance. Labor has rejected the ombudsman’s recommendations to compensate Victorians treated ‘inhumanely’ when the Vic/NSW border was closed last year. Some were stuck in NSW for months, others sat in tailbacks of up to 70km at border roadblocks. But still Mr Andrews chooses to ignore calls for compassion. It’s yet more evidence that the only way to hold him accountable is to vote him out.
