John Fitzgibbon, Liberal for Ballarat


John, has a long history of community involvement in Ballarat. John has worked hard in various media roles in regional Victoria over the last twenty years.

John is currently the General Manager of Ballarat radio, a position he has held since 2006.

His involvement with local community ranges from being a director of the Ballarat North Football Club to being a board member of Ballarat Regional Tourism and past chair of the community safety advisory committee. John is also an active supporter of White Ribbon Day and has been heavily involved in the promotion of the day in his local community.

Married to Kellie and father of two young boys, John, who is 40, is working hard to win back the seat of Ballarat for the Liberal Party. He wants to be the voice for the region in Federal Parliament, helping to reduce youth unemployment, increase education standards, promote jobs and business growth in the region as well as getting a fair go for families and reducing cost of living pressures.
