John Nguyen, Liberal for Chisholm [Short Introduction]
John’s life experience has shown he knows how to overcome challenges, help people and get results. Chisholm needs a new plan of action to address the many challenges residents face.
John arrived in Australia in 1980 with his grandparents as a refugee fleeing persecution in communist Vietnam. His family’s experience ensured that from a young age John had instilled in him the strong values of hard work and a sense of community service. John worked hard and attended university where he gained a degree in commerce and an MBA. He went on to build a successful career as a partner in a global professional services firm that helps large and small businesses.
John is also involved in a community mentoring program that helps young people.
John is reminded every day of the local and national issues that affect the community. He knows that many in our community are uncertain about their job security and that cost of living pressures are a real problem for so many families and individuals.
John will use his experience to deliver real results for the community and will always ensure the people of Chisholm come first.
John is engaged to Sarah and looks forward to raising a family in Chisholm.
