Labor has cut $215 million from Victorian roads over the past two budgets.
Last year they decided to reduce speed limits, rather than actually improving them.
Reducing speed limits is not the answer. Only investing in fixing our roads is a real solution.
That’s why we will invest $10 billion over the next 10 years in road maintenance funding, delivering longer term contracts to promote innovation and give contractors certainty to invest in better equipment.
Safe roads save lives and it’s what Victorians deserve.
