One of our biggest priorities is fixing Victoria’s Triple-Zero service.
And part of doing that means giving it the oversight it needs to support Victorians in need.
The Inspector-General for Emergency Management (IGEM) is an independent agency responsible for the oversight of emergency services such as Triple-Zero, CFA, SES and more and provides advice on their continuous improvement.
The Liberals and Nationals have already announced $125 million as part of our plan to fix Triple-Zero.
And today, we’ve announced an additional $6.2 million to fully fund IGEM and ensure they can do their job to deliver better emergency services to Victoria.
Only the Liberals and Nationals have real solutions to fix Triple-Zero and restore community confidence in this vital service.
