The Liberals and Nationals will deliver an extension of tram route 48, providing a much-needed public transport connection for Balwyn North and Doncaster.
This commitment is a part of our comprehensive plan to make the public transport system more affordable and accessible, including $2 flat fares for the metro system and half price V/Line fares – as well as extending the Frankston line to Baxter, and extending and fully electrifying the Cranbourne line to Clyde.
