His building career began in the 1980’s with a carpentry apprenticeship after which he started his own roof framing business at 20. He then took on the role of Construction Manager for 10 years with a major project homebuilder before establishing his own company, Genesis Homes, in Baldivis. Since then, despite a difficult time for the building industry, he has created a successful and multi-award winning home building company.
