More Peak And School Bus Services Start Today
An improved bus timetable that delivers an additional 94 weekday bus services start today, Monday 28 April 2025, in readiness for the commencement of school term two.
The improved bus timetable features more AM and PM weekday peak services for key Rapid routes and new and improved school services based on school and community feedback.
There are no changes to light rail frequencies. Timetable improvements include:
Weekdays
Weekends
Schools
The improved timetable aligns with the opening of the new bus depot in Woden, the largest electric bus depot in Australia, which is now operational.
Integrating the new Woden bus depot into the network will help improve the efficiency and reliability of Transport Canberra services as buses servicing the Woden region will no longer need to make their way from bus depots in Belconnen and Tuggeranong.
